Dental orthodontic Phosphoric Acid Etchant
SELF CURE ADHESIVE:
Ortho-force is an orthodontic mixed direct bonding system. The micromechanical bond to enamel utilizes the acid etch technique.
Thoroughly cleans the teeth to be bonded with pumice in a rubber cup or bristle brush. Take care to avoid irrirarting the gingival tissue since slight bleeding may cause contamination that could affect the quality of the bond.
Rugubse thoroughly with plenty of water, lsolate the teeth and try with the air syringe.
Etch enamel and dentin using an etchant and wait for 30-40 seconds, then rinse thoroughly and air-dry.
The etched areas should appear chalky-white.if not, reapply etchant for an additional 30 seconds.
Brush a thin coat of ortho force primer to each etched and dried tooth surface to be bonded.
Tooth preparation :
1. Prophy teeth with an oil-free pumice or paste.Rinse with water
2. Isolate teeth
3. Air fry thoroughly using oil and moisture-free air source.
Acid etching: Apply ortho-bonding etching gel to tooth, surfaces follow the instruction provided with the etching gel delivery system. If using ortho gel etching system consult manufacturer's instruction for proper technique and recommended etching time.
Priming:
1. Air dry tooth thoroughly
2.Place small amount of ortho-bonding primer in well
3. apply thin uniform coat of primer acts as wetting agent, only a very thik film of primer is necessary.
Note: Since Ortho-bonding primer acts as a wetting agent, only a very thin film of primer is necessary.
Adhesive Bonding : with the syring apply a small amount of ortho bonding adhesice paste onto brackets base. Use sparingly.
