MPXV7007 series piezoresistive sensor is a new type of single crystal silicon sensor, using a small shape package.The sensor has A wide range of applications, especially those using A microcontroller or microprocessor with A/D input.This patented modular sensor combines advanced micromechanical technology, thin film metallization, and bipolar processing to provide a high level analog output signal proportional to the applied pressure.
The MPXV7007 can measure both positive and negative pressure.In addition, it replaces the traditional 0V with a specific 2.5v offset, and this new series of sensors allows up to 7kPa per port to be measured for pressure as well as for vacuum detection (see transfer functions in the data manual for details).
