Product Description:
MQ138 Organic Vapor Sensor For Household Organic Vapor Alarm
Features:
Gas sensitive material used in the MQ138 gas sensor is tin dioxide (SnO2), which has a low conductivity in clean air. When there is organic vapor in the environment of the sensor, the conductivity of the sensor increases with the increase of the concentration of organic vapor in the air. A simple circuit can be used to convert the change in conductivity into an output signal corresponding to the concentration of the gas. The MQ138 gas sensor is highly sensitive to toluene, ethanol, formaldehyde, and is also ideal for monitoring hydrogen and other organic vapors. This sensor can detect a wide range of organic vapors, making it a low-cost sensor suitable for a variety of applications.
Main application
It is widely used in household organic vapor alarm, industrial organic vapor alarm and portable organic vapor detector
