Low Thickening Precipitated Silicon Dioxide As White Powder Used For Printing Inks
Description
Precipitated silica can be prepared by treating rice husk with Sodium sulphate to produce Sodium silicate, which is then dissolved in water and reacted with Sulphuric acid to get Precipitated silica. The chemistry involved in the process is described by the following reaction
Na2SiO3 + H2SO4 -------------> SiO2 + Na2SO4 + H2O
Characters
1, Low Thickening
2, Excellent application performance characteristics.
3, Avoids Agglomeration.
4, Improved Mar.
Application
1, Printing Ink: Improve the printing effect, eliminating influence of non-dispersed ink penetration. Improve the wash ability, and the glossiness.
2, Emulsion Paint Filler: Improves thermal stability.
