The vacuum couch roll is located at the end of the wire section of the paper machine. Its structure is basically the same as that of the suction roll. The roll shell is made of bronze or stainless steel, and the thickness of the roll shell is determined by the required rigidity and strength. High-strength metal is used to make the vacuum press roll with a thin roll shell, which is beneficial to improve the efficiency of pressing and dehydration. Structural principle
The vacuum couch roll is dehydrated through its internal vacuum chamber, and its dehydration strength mainly depends on the vacuum degree in the vacuum chamber, and the dehydration time and the amount of air passing through the wet paper are only secondary factors. The improvement of the vacuum degree has a significant impact on the dehydration ability of the couch roll.
