1. Before installing the oil transfer pump, the generator unit shall check whether the model and specification are correct, and remove the anti rust oil. The thickness of the gasket selected shall be appropriate. In order to avoid the piston being jacked or not in place, the gasket shall be prevented from being too thin or too thick. The tightening torque shall be uniform when tightening the bolts to prevent damage to the oil pump.

2. If there is a rubber sealing device between the hand oil pump piston and the hand oil pump body on the oil transfer pump, do not remove it at will. If the rubber ring is damaged, replace it in time.

3. The core of the coarse filter screen in the joint of the oil transfer pump is easily blocked by dirt such as cotton wool. It should be inspected and cleaned frequently. The damaged filter screen must be repaired or replaced in time.

4. Ensure that the sealing gaskets at all parts of the oil pump of the generator set are intact, and the plastic cushion ring should not be disassembled too often, and should be replaced regularly.

5. Ensure that the "four springs" of the plunger type oil pump are normal. The "four springs" are piston spring, tappet (roller) spring, oil inlet valve spring and oil outlet valve spring. If the spring elasticity is weakened or broken, it shall be replaced or padded in time to avoid damage to the generator set.

6. The manual oil pump of the generator set must be pressed back after use, and the button shall be screwed to prevent the manual oil pump and rubber ring or the ball valve and the valve seat from being pressed tightly, resulting in air intake or oil leakage.

7. When the generator is shut down for a long time, rust prevention measures must be taken to prevent the mating surfaces of the oil transfer pump, especially between the piston and the pump body, and between the tappet and the tappet sleeve, from rusting due to water in the oil. That is, when the generator unit is shut down, replace the lubricating oil with water, diesel oil and other impurities in the oil sump of the oil injection pump.

8. The oil of the generator set to be filled shall be filtered by sedimentation to ensure cleanness and prevent the oil inlet valve, oil outlet valve and valve seat of the oil transfer pump from being worn by excessive impurities. Sometimes, the oil valve may even be blocked by impurities and become invalid.
