Product description
The IC697CPM925 module is a CPU module for the Series 90-70 PLCs from GE Fanuc. The CPU module uses an 80486DX2 microprocessor clocked at 64 Megahertz and comes with 1 Megabyte of battery-backed memory. The shelf life of the battery is 10 years at 68 degrees Fahrenheit and the memory retention is 6 months without applied power. The IC697CPM925 module is a 32-bit floating point CPU.
The module requires a single slot in the PLC backplane. The number of total discrete I/O supported is 12 K and up to 8 K analog I/O. The power requirements of the IC697CPM925 module is 3.3 Amps nominal current at 5 Volts DC. The operating temperature range is 0 to 60 degrees Celsius with 70 cubic feet per minute of forced air-cooling. Without forced air-cooling, the operating temperature range is 0 to 40 degrees Celsius.
