PHiliphh MX40 Patient Monitor Loudspeaker for the version before 2015 DLP-001-01
Brief Introduction
The speaker is a device that converts electrical signals into audio signal output. It converts the received electrical signals into sound and outputs it into the air. It is an essential component of the monitor. Speakers are usually composed of diaphragms, drivers, casings and interfaces, and come in various sizes and shapes.
Feature
A speaker is an audio signal accessory. In medical equipment, audio signals are part of the human-machine interface (HMI) of medical equipment, whether it is used for ordinary home blood pressure monitors or for various complex instruments in regular hospital environments (such as pulse monitors, heart waveforms (EKG) ) equipment, infusion pumps and respirators, as well as ventilators, oximeters, etc.), audio signals are important in notifying physicians of patient conditions, trends, critical/risk situations, and equipment operating conditions. The working principle of the speaker is: first, an alternating current is passed into the voice coil of the speaker. The voice coil generates an alternating magnetic field under the action of the input current, and the voice coil is placed in a permanent magnet. The voice coil is between the two magnetic fields. It moves perpendicular to the direction of the voice coil current under action. In this way, the voice coil reciprocates under the action of electric current. Since the voice coil and the paper cone are connected together, the movement of the voice coil will drive the paper cone to vibrate forward and backward. The vibration of the paper cone promotes the vibration of the air, and the human ear can feel the vibration of the air and produce sound. When the AC current input to the speaker is larger, the AC current flowing through the voice coil is also larger, the magnetic field is stronger, the vibration amplitude of the speaker's cone is larger, and the corresponding sound is louder, and vice versa. Therefore, when the speaker is damaged and does not produce sound, it needs to be replaced in time to avoid missing the alarm sound of the monitor when the patient is in critical condition.
