► Running the Button Test

The button test tests the function of the navigation (rotation) wheel and system buttons.Run button tests:

1. In the System Diagnostics menu, rotate the wheel to highlight the button test, and then press the wheel down.

The button/spinner test window appears with several system icon buttons on the right side of the window.

2. To test the system icon button, press the button on the monitor.

If the button you press on the monitor works, the corresponding icon in the test window lights up in a gray border for five seconds.

3. To test the display wheel, turn the display wheel clockwise or counterclockwise.

If the spinner on the monitor is working properly, the spinner icon draws a red dot in the direction in which you rotate the spinner.

4. To test every small movement of the display wheel, move the wheel in small increments.

If the spinner on the monitor is working properly, the wheel icon will show a red dot for each small movement of the monitor wheel.

5. To end the test, press the monitor wheel.
