Patient Interface Module (PIM)
The same patient interface module (PIM) is used in the TC70 and TC50 heart rate monitors. The PIM is a portable device that connects the patient to a data cable. The PIM is available in a standard 12 or 16 lead version. version Extra conductors
The only visual difference between a Class A patient data cable and a Class B patient data cable is the number of connectors on the PIM module and the number of pins at the end of the PIM connector on the patient data cable. All class A devices have an / pim connector. PIM connector and 5 pins at the end of the PIM connector on the patient data cable All Class B devices have 8 connectors / pins at the end of the PIM connector and a PIM connector on the patient data cable..
Class A and Class B patient data cables have 5 pins at the end of the connector to the electrocardiogram.
The Class A patient data cable can only be used with the Class APIM of the PageWriterTC70 cardiograPHiliphhilip. The Class B patient data cable can only be used with the Class BPIM module of the PageWriterTC70 or PageWriterTC50 cardiograPHiliphhilip. When ordering a replacement PIM or patient data cable, verify that you have ordered a class device by checking the number of connectors on the PIM and the number of pins on the PIM connector edge of the patient data cable. please. A or class B is correct.

Attaching the Patient Data Cable to the PIM and CardiograPHiliphhilip
The patient data cable must be connected to the PIM connector before use. Once connected to the PIM, connect the patient data cable to the cardiograPHiliphhilip via the dedicated PIM connector on the back of the cardiograPHiliphhilip.
To attach the patient data cable to the PIM and to the cardiograPHiliphhilip:
1.Align the tactile dots on the patient data cable connector with the front of the PIM. Thread the patient data cable connector through the metal housing. Push the patient data cable connector firmly into the PIM connector. When locked, the connector will click.
If the patient data cable cannot be connected to the PIM connector, ensure that both devices are compatible. You cannot connect a Class A patient data cable to a BPIM class.
2.Connect the other end of the patient data cable to the PIM connector () on the back of the ECG. Insert the raised circle of the cable connector as shown in the picture. Turn the cable connector clockwise to lock it.
3. Attach the patient data cable to the top of the handle on the back of the cart to prevent the patient cable from being dragged onto the floor.
To disconnect the patient data cable from the PIM:
Twist the end of the patient cable connector inside the metal housing and pull the connector out.
