MR340E Fisher& Paykel Humidification Chamber For Infant/Pediatric

MR340 is a reusable humidification chamber for use with Fisher & Paykel heated bases. This chamber is used to ensure the humidification of intubated or non-intubated patients. Its low compressible volume makes the MR340 ideal for infants or newborn applications.

Warning

• Do not exceed the maximum fill level. If the chamber is overfilled, fluid can enter the breathing circuit.
• Do not fill the room with water above 37°C.
• If using a water supply unit, make sure to place the water bag below the level of the humidifier after filling the water chamber.
• Make sure to regularly monitor the water level in the chamber. Supplement if necessary.
• Make sure the humidifier is not tilted. Tilting the humidifier may cause water to enter the breathing circuit.
• Do not touch the heater plate or the chamber base. Surfaces may exceed 85°C.
• Do not exceed the maximum peak flow of 70L/min.

Cleaning

The cleaning chamber can be cleaned by any of the following methods

Autoclave: 136°C (277°F) @ 220kPa (32psi) for 4 minutes or 120°C (248°F) @ 96kPa (14.1psi) for 15 minutes

Ethylene oxide: 55°C (131°F)

Pasteurization Chemical Immersion:

Solutions such as Mesoxazine, Pyrrole, Control 3, Solution 2 and Cidex have been tested according to the manufacturer's instructions. Other brand names with similar active ingredients can also be substituted.
