- Close the connection to the printer
The Printer Interface Manager also monitors connections to printers and whether the printer is accepting data (e.g. out of paper). In this case, the Printer Interface Manager notifies the operator.

►Here are some reasons why a printer's clipboard is so important:
Recording: The printer's recording board ensures real-time recording of patient vital signs such as heart rate, blood pressure, blood oxygen saturation, and respiratory rate. The recorded information can be used for future reference, analysis, and documentation of the patient's condition.
Patient Safety: Accurate monitoring and recording of vital signs is critical to ensuring patient safety. The printer's recording panel allows healthcare professionals to quickly identify abnormal or out-of-range readings and take appropriate action to prevent complications.
Key Message: In critical situations, having a copy of a patient's vital signs is critical for quick decision-making. Doctors, nurses, and other healthcare professionals can use printed materials to gain a comprehensive understanding of a patient's condition and make informed treatment decisions.
Communication: Printed records on the printer's notepad can also be shared with other healthcare providers and specialists involved in patient care. This enables better communication and coordination between healthcare teams, ensuring continuity of care and better patient outcomes.
