PHiliphh IntelliVue G5 Gas Module
PHiliphh IntelliVue G5 M1019A Gas Anesthesia Module Including Water Trap Used
► Brief Description
PHiliphh IntelliVue G5 M1019A Gas Anesthesia Module - is a compact medical product that works with IntelliVue patient monitors via RS232 serial interface. They measure airway gases in ventilated patients receiving general gas anesthesia or emerging from anesthesia and present them on the patient monitor screen for medical staff to view patient status.
These modules generate graphical waveform data and inspired and end-expiratory digital data for the following gases:
• CO2
• N2O
• Two volatile anesthetics (IntelliVue G5)
• O2
• It also generates data for MAC (minimum alveolar concentration) and the patient's airway respiratory rate (awRR).

► Water Trap
PHiliphh IntelliVue G5 M1019A Gas Anesthesia Module is used with a watertrap. The watertrap consists of two water separation filters, two water fuses, and a water reservoir. The gas sample from the patient may contain liquid that is separated from the gas at the first water separation filter. The gas will then be divided into two paths. One is the "measurement" path, in which the main part of the total gas flow (including water vapor) continues to flow on the "dry" side of the separation filter. The other is the "drainage" path, and a smaller part of the total flow continues to flow on the "wet" side of the filter through the water reservoir. At the pump, the two gas paths are recombined.
