► Brief Description
ZOLL M Series Defibrillator High Voltage Capacitor 9126-0006
Zoll M Series Defibrillator Capacitor 9126-0006 - This is an important part of the Zoll M series defibrillator. Its main role is to store energy, which can provide the high energy pulse required for the defibrillation operation. The second role is to provide a stable output to ensure the stability of the defibrillation pulse. The third function is rapid discharge, which can complete the discharge process in a very short time and achieve instantaneous high energy output. This rapid discharge property is essential for timely termination of the abnormal rhythm.
► Removing
Tools Needed
• Number two screwdriver
• Cutting knife
• Polyester tape
Step ahead
1. Remove the front panel assembly.
2. Remove the House of Lords.
3. Remove the system board.
4. Remove the battery connection plate.
5. Remove the high voltage charger assembly.
6. Lift up the capacitor assembly from the chassis. (The capacitor assembly is still connected to the high voltage module assembly.)
Step 1: Open the high-voltage capacitive plastic isolator and lift the polyester tape.
Step 2: Excess voltage is released using a resistor with a value of about 5 millimetres, 25 watts, for 10-20 seconds. Measure the voltage on the capacitor terminal.
Step 3: Disconnect the inductor and capacitor terminal wires when the capacitor voltage is 0 VDC.
