The blood pressure cuff is a medical device used to measure adult blood pressure. It usually consists of a cuff, an air bag, a connecting tube. The air bag of the blood pressure cuff is usually wrapped inside the cuff and placed on the upper arm of the person being measured. When inflated, the blood vessels are compressed to prevent blood flow, thereby measuring the blood pressure of the person being measured.

During use, the cuff needs to be put on the upper arm of the person being measured, and then the cuff is inflated by an air pump until the air bag in the cuff compresses the upper arm artery, that is, the blood vessels of the person being measured are completely closed. Then, a barometer is used to measure the air pressure value in the compressed air bag, which is the blood pressure value of the person being measured.

Use Steps:
1. Select the appropriate cuff based on the blood pressure measuring device and the patient's arm circumference.
2. Place the side of the cuff printed with "This side to patient" on the patient's upper arm or thigh, making sure the "center" symbol on the cuff is exactly over the brachial or femoral artery.
3. Wrap the cuff tightly around the patient's upper arm or thigh.
4. Connect the cuff to the machine through the extension tube.
