Respirator motor crashes or the motor gets stuck.
Generally, motor top flushing is caused by the loss of control of motor speed. The motor rotation is indirectly controlled by the encoder disc, which has a dense circle of small holes around it that can pass through the light beam. The upper and lower parts of the encoder disc are the light-emitting tube and the photoelectric receiver, respectively. The rotation of the motor and encoder causes the light path to be turned on and off, realizing the counting function and thus controlling the number of rotations of the motor. For example, if we set a tidal volume of 100 mL, the encoder controls the motor to rotate 10 times, and the motor pushes the ventilator piston up 5 cm to accurately produce a tidal volume of 100 mL. After a malfunction occurs, open the outer cover of the respirator and use a piece of paper to block the light beam. Check if the respirator motor still hits the top. If so, the light-emitting tube and photoelectric coupler are damaged and need to be replaced with a set of photoelectric couplers and light-emitting tubes. If the motor stops rotating after blocking the beam, please check the control circuit of the motor. If the motor connecting rod gets stuck due to the motor hitting the top, you can first disassemble the motor and reassemble the motor connecting rod to solve the problem. In addition, continuous charging of the motor can also cause damage to the motor drive circuit, which can be determined by measuring whether there is voltage output. When there is no voltage output, please check the on/off of the four high-power transistors on the drive circuit board. After replacing the same type of transistor, the motor can resume normal operation. In summary, the above fault phenomena all occur in the abnormal operation of the respirator, but the causes are fundamentally different. Our engineering and technical personnel usually observe and analyze more, understand from the principle, and accumulate more maintenance experience. Once an abnormality occurs, they can quickly make a judgment and handle it in a timely manner to improve work efficiency.
