Brief Introduction of Siemens Acuson EC9-4 Intracavity Ultrasound Transducer Probe

Siemens Acuson EC9-4 transducer is used for Urology, Obstetrics, Early Obstetrics, Gynecology .The frequency is 4.0 – 9.0 MHz .The operation

mode are 2D, C, D, M .It’s compatible with ACUSON X300 ultrasound system,ACUSON X150 ultrasound system and SONOLINE G40 ultrasound

system.

Specification of Siemens Acuson EC9-4 Intracavity Ultrasound Transducer Probe

To clean the transducer:

1. Disconnect the transducer from the system.

2. Wipe the transducer with a clean, water-moistened gauze pad to remove any gel or particulate matter on the transducer. If water is not effective, an approved pre-cleaner or low-level disinfectant may be used.

3. Carefully clean the entire converter, including cables and connectors.

4.After cleaning or disinfecting, wipe the transducer with a clean cloth.

To disinfect or high-level disinfect the transducer:

1. Disconnect the transducer from the system.

2. Thoroughly clean, rinse, and dry the transducer.

3. Immerse the transducer in an approved disinfectant to the level shown in the following illustration, taking care to keep the cable strain relief and connectors dry.

4. Carefully follow the disinfectant manufacturer's instructions for disinfection or high-level disinfection.

5. After disinfection or high-level disinfection, wipe the transducer with a clean cloth.
