What is Rigid-Flex PCB?
Rigid-flex board is a combination of two very important printed circuit boards: rigid printed circuit board (hard board) and flexible printed circuit board (FPC soft board), the English name is rigid-flex PCB. The circuits of the hard board part and the flex board part are interconnected by plated through holes. Rigid flex circuits offer higher component density and better quality control. The design is rigid, requires extra support, and corners and areas that require extra space. The hard board and the soft board are combined according to the relevant process requirements after the pressing process, and the circuit board with the characteristics of the FPC soft board and the hard board PCB is formed.

2. The polyimide material used to manufacture these flexible circuits makes them much better suited for high-temperature applications operating at values below -200 degrees or above 400 degrees Celsius.
3. They are also highly resistant to chemicals, radiation, and ultraviolet rays.
