Super hard cubic boron nitride (cBN) is the hardest known material eligible for the machining of ferrous materials and other super hard materials. CBN materials posses properties of high hardness, high resistance to corrosion and high thermal stability.

Polycrystalline cubic boron nitride blanks for cutting tool are compound super-hard material of polycrystalline cubic boron nitride layer and WC sintered under ultrahigh pressure and high temperature.
