2. Advantages of Coating PCBN Inserts
The perfect combination of smooth coating and CBN base can achieve better cutting performance and improve machining accuracy and tool life. When the common pcbn inserts can't meet their requirements, they will try to find coating pcbn for testing.
Now we have 3 types coating: C25/C65 and C75. We can help the customers choose the right coating if they can offer the machining information details.
3. Coating PCBN Inserts Characteristics for finish turning hardened steel
A specific form of PCBN with reduced CBN content is supplied for use for fine finishing hard ferrous materials. This material is capable, given the correct machining parameters, of producing turned finishes equal to those of ground components. The attendant cost savings found from switching from grinding to turning are often very dramatic.
