Product Description of Cable Line Tester

This is a multi-functional handheld cable tracking & testing tool, it can track RJ45, RJ11, BNC, with 2 tones selection.​ Whatever the above info from the manufacturer, from my experience, it has all the basic wire tracking and testing function with low battery indicator, an LED light on the receiver, a simple voltage test​. Besides, it has sequence collation including Open circuit, short circuit, detection of cable line sequence. The instrument is designed and manufactured strictly in accordance with the safety standard CE CAT.III 600V RoHS.​ It can work in a switch hubs environment, but no POE please.

• Cable hunting: Directly hunt the cable with RJ11, RJ45 and BNC terminal and other metal leads through adaptor.
• It can directly hunt cable when weak current equipment is turned on, such as Ethernet switch, router.
• Test the status of telephone line: It can test the working status of telephone line and judge TIP or RING line.
• Test network cable: It can fully test the line sequence of network cable, open circuit, short-circuit, mis wire, reverse connection and split pairs.
• When cable is hunted, there is no strip off cable sheath, which is easy and quick to judge the location of breakpoint in cable
• It provides low voltage prompt function and receiver has installed spotlight
