The working principle for the pretreatment of raw materials is to crush or grind to smaller particle sizes. This process can be done through using a grater or pulverizer.
The pelletizing process involves the material entering the granulation chamber, where it is rotated by the friction roller of the mold. This method extrudes the material into the mold hole, compressing it into a cylindrical strip. Then, the cutter at the discharge port cuts the material, forming the granules. Finally, the granules roll out of the granulation chamber.
The flat die granulator equipment offers superior advantages, which includes dry in and dry out feature without the need to dry as the raw material moisture meets the national export volume moisture standard of 15-18%. It has a low energy consumption and high output with an easy operation, using differential gear and universal joint drive equipped with motor or diesel engine. It uses the new process of extrusion granulation, polishing and shaping that solves the traditional granulation process with low addition of organic raw materials, about 30%, and uses three pressure wheels and fan-shaped inclined pressure wheels to reduce friction and energy consumption. The produced particles are smooth, uniform, and round with a quality high strength and good fluidity.
Moreover, the flat die granulator equipment is a highly cost-efficient machine which has a low investment cost and is widely used in animal husbandry, large, medium and small breeding factories, feed factories and other industries.

The flat die pellet machine has a wide range of applications. It is mainly used in the feed breeding industry, for small breeding plants and feed factories, such as those related to cattle, horses, sheep, chickens, pigs, rabbits, ducks, geese, fish, ostriches, camels, pigeons, etc.
The feed pellets produced by this machine have uniform size and smooth surface. They are made by compressing and forming the feeds in a flat mold and instantly cooling them in a cooler. Not only are the pellets easy to store and transport, but they can also improve the nutrition absorption of animals which is why they are so widely used in animal husbandry.
