Some produce a large amount of powder during the processing, while others produce unsmooth particles that do not sell well, and so on.
Reason: There are generally five main reasons for poor granulation effect:
1. The mold needs to be ground. The first time a newly purchased biomass pellet machine is turned on, it needs to add about 10% engine oil to the compressed wood chips to grind the mold of the particles. This step is crucial, as the ground mold can produce beautiful and smooth particles.
2. The moisture content of the raw materials does not meet the standard. Whether it is straw or wooden raw materials, there are requirements for moisture. Forming too wet is not good, and powder is easily produced if it is too dry. It is best to control it between 15-20%.
3. Regarding the particle size of raw materials, it is recommended to process wood chips with a growth rate of 1-5mm. If they are too coarse, the particle forming rate will be low, and the pressure roller mold will be severely worn. If they are too fine, it will increase the energy consumption of the crusher.
4. Unreasonable operation. The most common issue is the gap between the mold and the pressure roller assembly, which cannot be extruded without a suitable gap.
5. Mechanical faults: such as damage to the bearing mold pressure wheel, lubrication system issues, etc.
