Temperature Requirements:

1. The volume solution temperature must be above 5°C.
2. Application temperature should be carried out at 5°C above.

Applying Paste:

• Apply a thin coat of paste.
• The paste shall be applied to threads, cavities, shoulders, pits and other irregularities.

Stuffing Mastic:

• Stuff mastic in uneven areas such as flanges and valves.
• The mastic shall be molded and packed into irregularities to eliminate bridging and voids.

Applying Tape:

• Wrap petrolatum tape around the surface while applying tension to assure tight tape adhesion.

PVC Tape:

• PVC tape is recommended for outer protection of petrolatum tape from mechanical damages and for better isolation from air.
