Usage
Petroleum Paste is mainly used as a primer prior to the application of petrolatum tapes. Its specialized formulation allows it to penetrate existing rust, displace moisture, pacify the surface, and aid adhesion of tapes and mastic. This ensures that the applied tapes have a strong and secure bond. Petroleum Paste is a popular choice for those who need to protect and maintain pipelines, valves, and fittings.

To remove rust, you will need a wire brush. Use the wire brush to scrub away the rust and then wipe away any remaining soil with rags.
To apply PETRO PASTE, use your hands and apply it in a range of 300~500g/m2. It is important to apply regularly to ensure maximum effectiveness.
If you need to apply the paste on a complicated or uneven surface, it can also be used as a filler. For example, on valves, flanges, and uneven surfaces where space is left after tape wrapping, PETRO PASTE can be applied to fill in the gaps.
Once the paste is applied, allow it to overlap for at least 15 minutes (30~50%). Then, use your hands to level the tape and remove any joints according to the line by stroking it with care.
P.V.C OUTER TAPE is used in place of finishing. You can choose from various colors based on the environmental situation to make it easier to identify.
