high temperature steam flange connection metal bellow thermal expansion joints
Product Description
Corrugated expansion joints are also commonly called compensators, or telescopic joints. It consists of bellows (an elastic element) and end pipes, brackets, flanges, ducts and other accessories that constitute its working body. The expansion joint is a flexible structure provided on a container shell or a pipeline in order to compensate for additional stress caused by temperature difference and mechanical vibration. Utilize the effective expansion and contraction of its working body bellows to absorb the dimensional changes caused by thermal expansion and contraction of pipelines, pipes, and containers, or to compensate for axial, lateral, and angular displacements of pipelines, pipes, and containers. It can also be used for noise reduction, vibration and heating. In order to prevent the pipe from being deformed or damaged due to thermal elongation or temperature stress when the heating pipe is heating up, a compensator must be installed on the pipe to compensate for the thermal elongation of the pipe. Thus, the stress of the pipe wall and the force acting on the valve member or the support structure are reduced.
