Non rising stem stainless steel gate valve also known as a concealed stem wedge gate valve, has a stem nut located on the gate plate. The handwheel is rotated to drive the stem to rotate and lift the gate plate. Usually, there is a trapezoidal thread at the bottom of the stem. Through the thread at the bottom of the valve and the guide groove on the valve disc, the rotational motion is transformed into linear motion, that is, the operating torque is transformed into the operating thrust.
