Thermostatic membrane box steam trap (steam pressure balance type) is currently the most commonly used advanced energy-saving drain valve internationally. The response of the diaphragm type steam trap valve is very sensitive, and there is high-temperature condensate in front of the valve during operation, without steam leakage, and the energy-saving effect is significant.
The main operating component of a membrane type steam trap is a metal membrane box, which is filled with a liquid with a gasification temperature lower than the saturation temperature of water. When the device is first started, low-temperature condensation water appears in the pipeline, and the liquid inside the membrane box is in a condensed state. The valve is in the open position. As the temperature of the condensate gradually increases, the liquid inside the membrane box begins to evaporate, and the pressure inside the membrane box increases. The membrane drives the valve center to move towards the closed direction. Before the condensate reaches saturation temperature, the drain valve is completely closed, and the membrane box controls the valve opening and closing according to changes in steam temperature, playing a role in blocking steam and draining water. There are two types of membrane boxes available for selection: 15 ℃ and 30 ℃ below the saturation temperature when opening the valve.
