1,The socket elbow is mainly a high-pressure elbow pipe connection fitting which is formed from round steel or steel ingot by die-pressing and forging the blank, and then processed and formed by a lathe. It is a kind of forged socket series pipe fittings.
2,Commonly used manufacturing materials
Commonly used raw materials for socket pipe fittings are generally divided into carbon steel, stainless steel, alloy steel, etc.
The commonly used grades of carbon steel are Q235, 20#, A105, etc.;
The commonly used grades of stainless steel are 304, 304L, 316, 316L, 321, 00Cr17Ni14Mo2, etc.;
The commonly used grades of alloy materials are 15CrMo, 1Cr5Mo, 16Mn, 12Cr1MoV, F11, F22, 10CrMo910, etc.
Other materials: copper alloy, nickel alloy, etc.
3,Precautions for the use of socket elbows: There are two sizes of socket elbows: A series (I series) and B series (II series), or imperial connection (ie, A series) and The metric system takes over (ie, B series size). In addition, some standards directly stipulate that the pipe size is A series. These standards include ASME B16.11 and SH3410 standards. Some standards are available in two sizes, and the pipe size needs to be confirmed during production and processing. These standards include GB/T14383-2008, GB/T14383-93, HG21634, etc. If the user does not provide which pipe size to choose, the default is generally A series. However, what needs to be noted here is the HG21634 standard. If it says that the connection is A, then the B series connection size should be used.
4,socket elbow is mainly used in petrochemical, medical and health, electric power, aerospace, fire fighting, metallurgy, shipbuilding, gas, nuclear power, and environmental protection departments and fields that require high pressure and precise dimensions.
