Forged Pipe Fitting ASME B16.11 ASTM A105 Socket Weld BSP NPT pipe fittings
There are many kinds of socket welded pipe fittings. Because of their superiority in the field of health, they have been widely used in these fields, especially in flammable and explosive pipelines.Socket welded pipe wall thickness unevenness mainly occurs in the deformed parts of stainless steel pipe fittings, such as the wall thickness of the back of the elbow is thinner than other parts; the wall thickness of the nozzle is different from the wall thickness of stainless steel pipe fittings.
Pay attention to the following points when welding socket welded pipe fittings:
1. In order to prevent thermal corrosion, the welding current should not be too large, 20% smaller than that of carbon steel, the electrode and arc should not be too long, and the interlayer cooling should be fast.
2. Socket welded pipe fittings have relatively large hardenability after welding and are prone to cracking. After welding, they need to be preheated above 300℃ and slowly cooled at 700℃.
3. For socket welded pipe fittings, in order to improve corrosion resistance and weldability, adding appropriate amount of invariable elements such as titanium, niobium, molybdenum, etc., the weldability is better than stainless steel pipe fittings.
4. Socket welded pipe electrodes have excellent corrosion resistance and performance, and are widely used in chemical, fertilizer, petroleum and machinery manufacturing.
5. The coating of socket welded pipe is titanium calcium type and low hydrogen type. The calcium type can be used for AC and DC, but AC welding has a shallow penetration and is easy to redness. Generally, DC power supply is used.
6. Socket welded pipe fittings have corrosion resistance and heat resistance.
Socket welded pipe wall thickness unevenness mainly occurs in the deformed parts of stainless steel pipe fittings, such as the wall thickness of the back of the elbow is thinner than other parts; the wall thickness of the nozzle is different from the wall thickness of stainless steel pipe fittings.
