After the pipeline system is installed, air or steam can be used to blow it according to the working conditions of its working medium and the degree of contamination of the inner surface of the pipeline. The general requirements for pipe purging are:

Equipment and pipelines that do not allow purging should be isolated from the purging system.

Before the pipeline is purged, the orifice plate, flange-connected regulating valve, main valve, throttle valve, safety valve, instrument, etc. should not be installed. For the above-mentioned valves and instruments connected by welding, the bypass should be adopted or the seal should be removed. protection measures, etc.

The order of purging should be carried out in the order of main pipe, branch pipe, and dredging pipe.

The dirt discharged by purging shall not pollute the environment, and it is strictly forbidden to discharge it at will.

A forbidden area should be set before purging.

No other operations that affect the cleaning shall be performed after the pipeline has been purged qualified.

1. After the strength test of the pipeline system, before the air pressure tightness test, purging and cleaning should be carried out in sections
2. The purging method should be determined according to the use requirements of the pipeline, the working medium and the degree of dirt on the inner surface of the pipeline. Liquid or gas pipelines with a nominal diameter greater than or equal to 600mm should be cleaned manually, and liquid pipelines with a nominal diameter less than 600mm should be cleaned manually. Use water to clean the gas pipeline with a nominal diameter of less than 600mm, it should be purged with air. Steam piping should be purged with steam, and non-thermal piping should not be purged with steam. The purging of the gas is generally carried out in sequence by the main pipe, the branch pipe, and the dredging pipe.
3. Before the pipeline is flushed, a detailed flushing plan should be prepared and carried out according to the system section.
4. Equipment and pipelines that are not allowed to be purged are separated from the purge system.
5. After the pipeline cleaning is qualified, in addition to the specified inspection and recovery work, no other work that affects the cleaning of the pipe shall be performed, and the "Pipeline System Blowing Record" shall be filled out.
