Close Nipples is one type of the pipe nipples with no unthreaded between two connection ends, Full threaded from one ends to the other ends. ln that case, connected fittings come close to touching one another and very little of the nipple can be seen after the connection complete, the closed Nipple can also be called Running Nipples
The Normal pipe Nipple is a short length of pipe with male pipethreads at both ends for connecting other fittings. Generally, there is a short distance of unthreaded pipe between the two threaded ends, depending onhow far apart you need the attached fittings to be. The close Nipples is a special Barrel Nipples with full threaded without any unthreaded part.
Nipple with TOE means Threaded One End - Pipe is threaded on only one end. The other end can be specified as beveled or plain. Nipple TBE means Threaded Both Ends - Pipe is threaded on both ends to accommodate fittings.
According to the export standards, there are American standard ASTM A733, German standard DIN2982, British standard BS EN10241 specifications; According to the process, there are welded close pipe nipples and seamless close pipe nipples.
Note: both the welded nipples and seamless nipples ith Minimum wall thickness at any point to be not more than 10% over and 3 1⁄2% under nominal wall thickness specified

ASME B16.9 Specification for Butt Welded Fittings
ASME B16.9 specification is designed for butt welded fittings applied in industrial construction pipelines. Including elbow, tee, cross, cap, reducer, and etc.
Standard Scope
