1. Products Overview
This Y2SED1 is an price competative hybrid stepper driver with great performance and high reliability, long lifetime,which is ideal for price sensitive applications and customers.
A step motor drive is used to drive a stepper motor to act as a controller defined. The step drive converts the received control signal to the phase sequence and frequency signal for the motor to rotate step by step to the expected position.
At the same time, it can control motor acceleration, deceleration and speed by adjusting output sequence frequencies, in order to achieve required motion in applications.
The control signal of the step drive mainly includes the pulse plus direction type, CW CCW type, external IO signal speed control type, fieldbus control type, such as EtherCAT, CanOpen, Profit net, etc.
Based on stepper motors with or without encoders, the step drivers can be divided into open-loop stepper motor drivers and closed-loop stepper motor drivers. Generally speaking, the closed-loop stepping system has better performance, such as great improvement in step loss, heating, output torque etc. However, with the development of technology, the open-loop steppers also have satisfactory and enough performance in many applications.
Step drives are widely used in factory automation, carving machines, electronic product manufacturing, logistics sorting, robots, various special automation equipment, medical equipment, CNC machine tools, laser equipment, printing machinery, material processing, safety system, navigation system, industrial test and measurement etc. There are many fields such as measurement and metering systems.
