The differences between electric spindle and mechanical spindle,
Drive method. The electrical spindle is driven by electric motors, which is adjusted by the inverter to adjust the speed and torque, which is suitable for high speed and high precision applications. The mechanical spindle uses traditional mechanical devices, such as belts and gears to achieve speed adjustment.
Scope of application processing. Due to its high accuracy and high efficiency, the main shaft is suitable for high-precision and high-speed processing fields such as CNC machine tools and high -speed cutting processing centers; the mechanical spindle is more suitable for areas with low -speed processing, simple operation, and low cost.
Maintenance costs. Due to the relatively complicated maintenance and maintenance of electrical components, the electrical main shaft requires more manpower and financial investment; the maintenance cost of mechanical main axis is low, the structure is simple, and it is relatively easy to maintain.
External structure. The main shaft is usually more compact and beautiful than the mechanical spindle, and the performance is more stable and reliable.
Speed adjustment method. Electric main shafts can easily adjust the speed by adjusting the frequency to achieve the speed adjustment; the mechanical spindle needs to be adjusted by changing gears or leather.

At present, the most widely used bearing in the market is the rolling bearing of ceramic balls. This is mainly because the ceramics have the advantages of small density, good rigidity, and small thermal expansion coefficients. The sliding bearing is larger in heating, so not widely used.
