Product: ABB 89AR30 Relay Unit

Description

The module contains prototype-tested relays *) with positively driven contacts. The contacts of relays K1, K2, K3 are divided into two circuits and wired in 2-out-3 sequence according to the open circuit principle (external jumpers B18-B20).

Auxiliary contacts can be used to query the individual relay positions. Relays K4, K5 and K6 can be used free of charge. K4 can be used, for example, for emergency trip pushbuttons of a certain protection circuit based on the closed or open circuit principle. In this case, the required jumpers need to be placed on the edge connector.

Features
The module contains six relays, three of which can be wired according to user-specific needs. The contacts of the other relays are wired in 2-out-3 mode.

Applications
The relay unit is mainly used to activate the trigger control elements of protection systems. It is installed in a withdrawable compartment according to DIN standard and uses 3 units, including an F-type female connector.
