P84 is fiber made by Degussa Inspec Fibres, and is a high temperature polyimide fibre. P84 can withstand up to 260℃ in dry heat conditions or 195 where high moisture is present. Unlike most other fibres, P84 has a trilobal cross section which makes its particle capture and filtration efficiency very high. In some industries P84 is used in the filtration surface of other filter media to improve the filtration efficiency. In the cement industry, P84 is the most commonly used fibre where the off gases from the kiln or clinker cooler are high.
According to the different requirements of the different working conditions, we could do various functional processing on P84 fiber high-temperature resistance needled felt, such as water and oil repellent, PTFE impregnation, coating, lamination and so on.
