1. Dry type cyclone has an involutes volute structure, so that dusty gas will rotate after entering the barrel. Since external centrifugal force is produced by the rotating gas, dust in the gas is close to the barrel wall under the action of centrifugal force. Therefore, dust is separated from the gas and fails into dust collecting box along the barrel wall under the action of dead weight so as to finish dust collecting process.

2. The collecting efficiency of the cyclone dust collector is related to the dust property. If the dust is granular and large and has large weight, the collecting efficiency is high, and vice versa. Therefore, the cyclone dust collector is suitable for sanding for sanding series dust, but not suitable for polishing process with wax smoke. Moreover, the collecting efficiency of the cyclone dust collector is also related to air intake speed, so that ideal effect can be achieved by designing reasonable air intake speed.

3. Due to its large structural size, cyclone dust collector is often connected in parallel so as to save space and increase air collecting rate.
