Electromagnetic clutch refers to a friction clutch that generates a pressing force by electromagnetic force. Electromagnetic clutch is also called electromagnetic coupling. It is an electromagnetic-mechanical connection that applies the principle of electromagnetic induction and the friction between the inner and outer friction plates to make the two rotating parts in the mechanical transmission system. When the active part does not stop rotating, the driven part can be combined or separated from it. Electromagnetic mechanical connection A device is an electrical appliance that executes automatically. Electromagnetic clutches can be used to control mechanical starting, reversing, speed regulation and braking. It has the advantages of simple structure, fast action, small control energy, and easy remote control; although it is small in size, it can transmit large torque; when used for braking control, it has the advantages of rapid and stable braking, so electromagnetic clutches are widely used. It is widely used in various processing machine tools and mechanical transmission systems. The function of the electromagnetic clutch is to transmit the torque (or power) of the actuator from the side of the driving shaft to the side of the driven shaft.
Dry single-plate electromagnetic clutch: When the coil is energized, a magnetic force is generated. Under the action of the electromagnetic force, the spring plate of the armature is deformed, the moving plate and the "armature" are attracted together, and the clutch is in an engaged state; when the coil is powered off, the magnetic force disappears, the "armature" bounces back under the action of the spring force, and the clutch is in a disengaged state
