MR One Direction Backstop Cam Clutch
Production introduction
In order to prevent the reverse or smooth phenomenon of inclined belt conveyor when stopping with load, the check or braking device shall be added according to the specific situation after the calculation of braking torque. Roller backstop is applicable to the head drum. It is driven by reducer with large power and drum diameter. The belt conveyor with reducer above zq65 is more suitable for upward conveying. The belt conveyor with inclination ≤ 18 degrees has the advantages of rapid backstop and small reverse distance. It is the preferred backstop for large and medium-sized inclined conveyors. It is widely used in reducer matching, coking plant and transportation machinery, conveyors, hoists, electric rollers and other mechanical equipment requiring backstop requirements
MR Series Cam Clutch is structuredso that the cam rotates together withthe outer race when the outer raceoverruns. As shown in the figure, thespring force (Fs) works to make thecam come in contact with the innerand outer races with fixed pressure.Conversely, the eccentric force (Fc),which works on the cam whenoverrunning, applies a moment in thedirection where the cam does notcontact the inner and outer races.Accordingly, when the overrunningspeed is increased, the eccentricforce (Fc) increases and themovement is augmented over themovement caused by the springforce.
Next, the cam lifts off from theinner race and loses contact with it.This phenomenon is called “lift-off.”In this state, there is no friction on thecam
and it continues overrunning aslong as the bearing lasts.
