Marine Floating Durable EVA Foam Filled Fender Introduction
Foam filled fenders are made of EVA closed-cell foam and are protected by a composite coating made of polyurethane resin and cords. The range of foam filled fenders offers greater flexibility as the manufacturing process does not require specific molds. Therefore, almost any type of size can be manufactured.
Flexibility applies not only to the actual size, but also to the performance of the fenders. By adjusting the foam density, it is possible to produce a stronger fender capable of withstanding greater impact forces. Foam filled fenders are often the first choice when it comes to cruise ship, port or government sector applications.

Marine Floating Durable EVA Foam Filled Fender Storage
1.Store the fenders on level ground and secure them from moving by chocking them in position. Use chocks with rounded edges to prevent damage to the skin.
2.Avoid oil and grease from contaminating the fender skin. Keep fenders away from locations where hot work is performed (torch cutting, welding, brazing, steam cleaning, heavy equipment exhaust).
3.If the storage period exceeds 30 days, it is recommended to cover the fenders. White tarps should be used to prevent excessive heat build-up on black or dark colored fenders. Do allow for good ventilation under any cover used in hot climates.
4.If the fenders are stacked, use adequate chocking. Do not stack over two units high.
5.Periodic rotation of the fenders may be desirable if storage will be for extended periods of time.
