POE-S424, 24 Port Channels Web-managed 10/100Mbps Power Over Ethernet Switch, which comes with 2 Gigabit RJ45 ports and 2 Gigabit SFP Slot ports Uplink. It is compliance with IEEE802.3at and IEEE802.3af down compatible. When it comes to the cost, POE-S424 is surely a perfect choice for multi-channels Ethernet Power transmission, it may say it's an integration of Network Switch and Power Source Equipment for low powered devices (PD) such as Wireless Access Point (AP), Voice over Internet Phone (VoIP), IP Digital Camera and other IP based device. Each PoE port output can be assigned maximum 15.4 watts by its POE PSE internal 400 watts power supply adapter.

There is a typical feature for this 24 Ways PoE Switch that is Power Classication, which is a necessary part of a start-up process before running a PoE connection, the terminal connected PD can be distinguished and detected its power class on POE PSE (Power Sourcing Equipment) which indicates how much power it requires to run regularly.
