POE-S224G, 24 Port Channels Gigabit Power Over Ethernet Switch, it comes with 2 port SFP Slot uplink and it's compliance with IEEE802.3af/at, it has 400 watts power supply adapter built-in, with which, there will be maximum 15.4W assigned on each connected Powered Device (PD), which also means PoE-S224 PoE Switch will conform to IEEE802.3at and each port can be assigned max.30W power if lesss than 12 port PoE output is running simultaneously.

All ports support wire-speed forwarding, 2 Gigabit optical interfaces (SFP port) allow high-speed uplink connection. This 24 ways Power Sourcing Equipment (PSE) supplies power for terminal PD that should support IEEE802.3af or IEEE802.3at, which also call PoE-enabled. Otherwise, it should add an external PoE Splitter as an media connector for PoE-disable device to be connected in a PoE system. This is apparently for Analog Camera to connect active PoE Swith.

On the other hand, there is a handshake protocol which always protecting PoE Switches and involved device from damage due to underload, undervoltage or other issue from incorrect installation. So there is no need to to worry about any damage of PoE switch and PoE PD or Non-PoE device. The POE-PSE will automacally cut the power when the terminal PoE PD is disconnected. POE-S224G is highly integrated design, lightweight, easy to operate, suitable for medium or large office. Based on gigabit network technology, it will effectively avoid network traffic congestion with its excellent network adaptability.

Base on its typical 802.3az Green Ethernet standard feature, it can automatically adjust the delivering signal strength according to the different cable length and the actual loading without any negative influence on its performance and efficiency.
