​normally those products will be with porcelain thread , lead head pins are recommended for use with those insulators . the cantilever strength test shall also be conducted with lead head pins .

because lead is soft , it will not hurt the porcelain thread .

the pin type insulator top can be normal type (with normal porcelain glaze ) or radio free type (with semi-conductive glaze) .

the insulator thread hole also covered with semi-conductive glaze .
