GPS Vehicle Tracker Installation

1. Check to make sure that the model is correct and complete accessories arter open the box.

2. You need a SIM card that is WCDMA (850/2100) or GSM (850/900/1800/1900) network, you can buy one from the mobile network operator.

3. The card slot is the control switch, insert the SIM card into the card slot of the terminal in the right way, terminal will start;

4. Make sure the DC line of the main power lines is connected with the power line in the vehicle, and the ACC line is connected with ACC line in the vehicle, then the The main power lines connector into the terminal, external power supply will charge the built-in battery .

5. Configure the correct parameters using SMS or PC tools, observation of the terminal LED to on line.

6. Please put the GPS antenna and the 3G antenna in a no masking signal place and connection the terminal.

7. Finally, The terminal installed in a place where is not high temperature and not high humidity.Note: Please let installation personnel ask for PC configuration software and the setting line.

Performance Parameters:

Fault phenomenon Trouble shooting
Device can not be connected to the server after the first installation, shows offline on the platform Please check if the main power cable connected correctly. Attention that do not connect it to car inner control lines.
SIM card installed well?
Check the parameter settings
Check if the terminal information already registered in the platform?
Is the ACC cable connected well? If yes, please turn it to ACC on.
Please check if the device got GPS fixed, if not, please test it in open sky environment for first GPS positioning.
Device shows offline on platform Call the device SIM number, if it gets through?
Check SIM card credit, if the GPRS service is disable
If the car in the place without GSM coverage?
Check the offline time, it is offline occasionally or offline all the time, please check your GSM operator about the GPRS network.
Device can not get GPS location for long time/ Location deviation big from real location Please check GPS antenna, place it face to sky.
Please check the place of GPS antenna, if there is material that can absorb electromagnetic waves (metal material), if there is Explosion-proof heat insulation membrane( with high metal composition that can absorb electromagnetic waves ) pasted on the window that upside the GPS antenna
If there is high building shield the GPS signal, please drive your car to open sky place for first time GPS locating, first locating will need 1-2minute.
LED light is off when power on Please check the car battery if it is low
Please check if the main power cable connected correctly. Attention that do not connect it to car inner control lines.
Please check if the fuse of the main power connection cable is burnt or damaged.
