It has the remarkable ability to handle expansion shell anchor rods, resin anchor rods, and single-strand anchor rods. Its versatility does not stop here, as it is also the first equipment in China to enable parallel drilling and anchoring operations, making the construction process even more time-efficient.

When it comes to engineering equipment, having a strong chassis and four-wheel drive is paramount. This is accentuated by the vehicle's strong climbing ability. Additionally, the vehicle boasts four-wheel steering technology which allows for a small turning radius.

The equipment further comes with a three working arm frame, where the middle arm is specifically designed for rock drilling while the left and right arms are primarily used for anchor rod installation. This ensures that the equipment has a diverse range of applications and can be used in a variety of scenarios.

The control of the vehicle is done through an efficient controller. This allows for effective parameter display on a large screen for easy monitoring in real-time. The controller's capabilities allow for the driver to keep track of the system's operation status throughout the entirety of its use.

Finally, the equipment features an intelligent assistance system for controlling the n-arm. This system makes it possible to achieve one-click automatic matching of drill and anchor rod orientation, which significantly increases work efficiency.

Applications:

In order to install anchor rods or cables, the KMZ 5012 uses end working devices located on the left and right arm frames. The procedure for using this device is as follows:

  1. First, deploy the boom to the approximate location of the anchor hole using the remote control.
  2. Next, manually place the resin or cement coil anchoring agent into the bottom of the hole by using a PVC pipe station located on the platform.
  3. Using the remote control, select the position in the hole where the anchor rod needs to be installed. The working device will then automatically adjust its posture to align with the anchor rod hole.
  4. Install the anchor rod into the friction wheel by using the remote control.
  5. Adjust the arm movement through the remote control to align the anchor rod with the anchor rod hole.
  6. Feed the anchor rod through the friction wheel, until it has contact with the anchoring agent, which can be determined by the length of the exposed anchor rod.
  7. Place the anchor rod device in its final position.
  8. Push the anchor rod device forward until it is inserted into the bottom of the hole and fix the anchor head.
  9. Install the exhaust pipe and seal the hole opening. This needs to be manually operated on the platform.
  10. Apply prestress by using torque through the anchor rod device torque tube. The torque can be set on the control panel of the electrical control cabinet.
  11. Finally, grout and seal the hole.
