Unlike liquid paints and coatings that are delivered through the evaporation of a solvent, powder coating is typically applied electrostatically and cured under heat by a melting process. They are applied as dry powders and are excellently suited for powder coating metals like automobile parts, aluminium extrusions but also household appliances, furniture as well as agricultural and construction equipment.
