3. Structure
There are two different structures, type目 and type 品.
Design of type 目 is high voltage compartment door and low voltage compartment door are at the front view, transformer compartment doors are at the two sides.
Design of type 品 is high voltage compartment front door connects to transformer compartment side door, and low voltage compartment front door connects to transformer compartment side door.
Each compartment has clapboard and all clapboards are removable. The whole box is made up of foundation, top cover, frame, wallboard and door.
The foundation and frame are welded with channel and angle steel. The wall board and the top cover are made of high quality steel plate, polystyrene sandwich board or glass fiber board. In addition, the transformer compartment and the low-voltage compartment are equipped with mesh plate at the lower part, and the top cover is equipped with ventilation hole, so as to make the station ventilated, with a good enclosure protection level, to avoid the entry of small animals, rainproof and solar radiation protection.
Low-voltage side has function of no-voltage protection and undervoltage protection. When high-voltage happens default phase, low-voltage side can trip automatically. Low-voltage side can also equip with distributing apparatus, controlling apparatus, measuring meters and distribution automatic equipment etc.

Considering to the box-type substation whole set structure and lifting method, the foundation adopts common foundation. The foundation is welded by channel steel and I shape steel, and LV/HV electrical equipment steel frame and transformer enclosure are connected with earthing conductor which minimum section is 30mm2. The terminals which connects with earthing conductor are around the foundation, so users can connect to earthing pole as needed.
The transformer compartment top covering is made of metal double-deck. There are thermal-protective coating, air duct and automatic ventilation device inside. The ventilation device ON and OFF is controlled by the temperature monitor device, which temperature setting value is allowed by 80%~90% temperature.
The left and right side of transformer compartment have doors, which can be convenient for installation and maintenance. There are safety separation net inside the door and an interlocking warning device on the separation net door, which can ensure equipment and people safety.
