TRSS-485 control signal surge protection device
Model: TRSS-485
Color: white / red
Verification: CE
product description
The control signal lightning arrester is used for lightning protection of the data communication system, and can protect four signal lines or two pairs of twisted pair information lines, providing high-energy coarse-level protection and low-energy fine protection for the data lines, and also being 1, 2 and 3 respectively. 4 pairs of lines provide fine differential mode protection and common mode protection to ground, thus effectively absorbing and transferring energy shocks caused by lightning strikes and surges, and introducing energy into the earth through grounding cables, ultimately protecting sensitive electronic equipment from damage.
working principle
The control signal surge protector is connected in series with the front end of the protected device. When the transmission line is subjected to induced lightning and other transient overvoltage surges, the inrush current is discharged to the earth through the protection branch of the surge protector, and the output is output. The voltage is clamped to the voltage range allowed by the device, thus ensuring the safety of the operating equipment.

Use attention
1.The signal lightning arrester can be installed in the LPZ0-1 area or directly connected in series to the front end of the protected equipment (or system). The closer it is to the protected equipment (or system), the better.
2. The grounding of the lightning arrester is connected with the shortest possible line. The protector is grounded by terminal grounding, and the grounding wire must be connected to the lightning protection ground wire (or the outer casing of the protected equipment). The shielded wire of the signal can be directly connected to the ground terminal.
3. Connect the lightning protection device (SPD) between the line and the device port to be protected. Connect the grounding port on the SPD to the ground net with multiple strands of copper wire, and ensure that the grounding resistance is not more than 4 ohms.
