Working principle of product
In the thunderstorm, the lightning rod and the top of the tall building are induced by a large amount of charge when there is a charged cloud over a high building. Because the needle of the lightning rod is sharp, the most charge is always gathered at the tip of the conductor when the electrostatic induction is induced. In this way, the lightning rod congregates most of the charge. The lightning rod also forms a capacitor with the charged clouds, which is relatively small because the two pole of the capacitor is small and the capacitance is very small, that is to say, it can hold very little charge. When it charges more clouds, the air between the lightning rod and the cloud layer can easily be breakdown and become conductor. In this way, the charged cloud layer and the lightning rod form the path, and the lightning rod is grounded, the lightning rod can import the charge on the cloud layer into the earth, so that it does not pose a danger to the high-rise building and ensures its safety.
