Electric tailgate products should have the function of intelligent detection of obstacles and realize emergency braking. The principle of anti-clamp of the electric tailgate is that the hall sensor (ECU) inside the spindle motor detects the speed of the motor. When the tailgate touch an obstacles during the process of opening and closing, the speed of the motor will drops below the set limit. The sensor detects an obstacle and the motor current consumption increases, so the power supply is reversed, resulting in moving in the opposite direction of tailgate.
1. The control box does not work:
1) The location of taking power supply is wrong or not inserted.
2) The fuse is burned out. (In the fuse box on the electrical appliances).
3) The ground wire is not connected properly, resulting in poor circuit.
4) "Door Lock detection line" is not connected well.
5) Car battery is low.
6) Control box is damaged.
2. The tail gate is not closed in place:
1) The brackets are reversed or they are not installed as required.
2) The waterproof rubber strips and decorative panel of the rear trunk are nor installed properly, and the connecting wire of poles are not connect well.
3) The electric suction lock are not installed well. (Some car's base nuts can be moved. You need to push lock base forward and fix it.)
3. The poles are not work or run smoothly:
1) The connecting wire of poles are not connected well.
2) "Door Lock detection wire" are not connected well.
3) The ground wire of control box is not connected well or the power cable is not connected properly.
4) The poles or the control box are damaged.
When the motor is not working, the resistance of the screw rod, the resistance of the motor gear box, the spring force and the gravity of the door form a balance torque to keep the door hovering at any position.
When the motor is working, the motor torque breaks the balance. According to the motor torque direction, the strut performs telescopic movement to drive the door to open and close.
